Struggling With Acne Scars? Dermatologists at Dermapuritys Reveal Advanced Laser Solutions

Acne scars can linger long after active breakouts have healed, affecting not just the skin’s appearance but also self-confidence. From uneven texture and deep pits to stubborn pigmentation, acne scars can be difficult to treat with topical products alone. Recognizing this challenge, dermatologists at Dermapuritys offer advanced laser solutions that effectively target acne scars at their root—helping patients achieve smoother, clearer, and healthier-looking skin.

    Understanding Acne Scars

Acne scars form when inflammation damages the skin’s deeper layers during severe or prolonged acne. Depending on the type and severity, scars may appear as:

    • Ice-pick scars
    • Boxcar scars
    • Rolling scars
    • Post-acne pigmentation and redness

Each type of scar requires a specific treatment approach, which is why professional evaluation is crucial.

Why Laser Treatment for Acne Scars Works

Laser technology has transformed acne scar management by stimulating collagen production deep within the skin. Unlike creams or chemical peels, laser treatments penetrate the deeper dermal layers, repairing damaged tissue and improving skin texture from within.

    🔹 Combination Laser Protocols

For deeper or stubborn scars, dermatologists at Dermapuritys may combine lasers with microneedling or PRP for enhanced results.

Benefits of Laser Acne Scar Treatment

    • Improves skin texture and smoothness
    • Reduces the appearance of deep acne scars
    • Stimulates natural collagen production
    • Treats pigmentation and redness
    • Safe for different skin tones

  • Supreme Court Order Puts Banks Under Scrutiny in RCOM Loan Case

Supreme Court Order Puts Banks Under Scrutiny in RCOM Loan Case

New Delhi, February 10, 2026: The Supreme Court of India has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe the role of senior bank officials involved in sanctioning loans to Reliance Communication Ltd. (RCOM), shifting focus toward the conduct of lenders in one of the country’s significant financial default cases.

In its order dated February 4, 2026, the apex court instructed the CBI to examine whether financial assistance extended to the defaulting company was released through collusion or connivance between bank authorities and the company’s management. The directive emphasises a thorough investigation into the decision-making process behind the sanctioning and disbursement of loans.

According to sources, a consortium of 14 public sector banks had extended financial support to RCOM. The Court has mandated the CBI to scrutinise whether any bank officials acted in conspiracy or collusion with the corporate entity during the lending process.

Significantly, the Supreme Court clarified that Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act cannot be cited as a barrier to initiating investigations against bank officials. In Point No. 7 of its order, the Court observed:

“It is imperative upon the CBI to investigate the conduct of the bank authorities to determine whether financial assistance was released in collusion and connivance with the management of the defaulter company… We direct that, regardless of any such provision, the CBI must look into the nexus/collusion/connivance/conspiracy, if any, and adopt all lawful measures for taking the investigations to their logical conclusions.”

The ruling underscores that no statutory provision should be used to obstruct or dilute inquiries into alleged collusive arrangements between banks and corporate borrowers. The Court authorised the CBI to employ all lawful and appropriate measures to ensure a comprehensive investigation.

Further, the Supreme Court stressed that accountability within financial institutions and among public officials is critical to maintaining the integrity of the banking system. It also noted that procedural technicalities must not be allowed to shield potential financial misconduct, reiterating that investigations into serious financial irregularities must proceed independently and without impediment.

People at Pacific: Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden Marks 15 Years as a Resilient Retail Asset in Delhi NCR

Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden has completed 15 years, underscoring its position as one of Delhi NCR’s most established and resilient retail destinations. At a time when India’s organised retail sector has undergone significant shifts—from changing consumer behaviour to the rise of experiential formats—the mall’s sustained performance highlights the strength of its asset strategy, tenant curation and long-term positioning.

Since its inception, Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden has evolved from a conventional shopping centre into a flagship retail asset that blends consumption, leisure and community engagement. Strategically located in West Delhi, the property has played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s organised retail ecosystem, attracting consistent footfalls and building long-term relationships with leading domestic and international brands.

A key contributor to the mall’s continued relevance has been its focus on curating scale-led, experience-driven retail. Pacific Mall is home to Delhi NCR’s only IKEA, reinforcing its destination-led appeal and drawing consumers from across the city and neighbouring regions. Strengthening this positioning further, global fashion major ZARA has significantly expanded its presence at the mall with a larger, two-level store, underlining the confidence of marquee brands in the asset’s performance and consumer profile.

In another significant development, Bershka—part of the Inditex Group—has selected Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden for its first-ever store in Delhi NCR, marking a major milestone for the mall. The upcoming launch is expected to further enhance the mall’s appeal among younger, fashion-forward consumers and reinforce its status as a preferred entry point for global brands into the NCR market.

The mall’s tenant portfolio includes international fashion and lifestyle brands such as Uniqlo, H&M, OVS, Babyshop, Dyson and Armani, alongside premium and mass-aspirational labels including Onitsuka Tiger, Calvin Klein, Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Charles & Keith and New Balance, among others. This balanced mix of global anchors, premium brands and high-street retailers has enabled Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden to remain aligned with evolving consumer preferences while ensuring operational stability.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Managing Director, Pacific Group, said, “Completing 15 years reflects the strength of our asset strategy and the trust we have built with both consumers and retail partners. ‘People at Pacific’ is a recognition of the collective effort of our tenants, employees and customers, all of whom have contributed to the mall’s ability to stay relevant and competitive in a dynamic retail environment. The expansion of global anchors and the entry of new international brands reaffirm our long-term vision for the asset.”

To mark the occasion, Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden has launched its 15th anniversary campaign, “People at Pacific,” which places people at the centre of its retail narrative. The campaign acknowledges long-standing retail partners who have scaled their presence at the mall, on-ground teams that have contributed to operational excellence, loyal consumers, and the larger community that has shaped the mall’s identity over the years.

The month-long celebrations include curated brand showcases, influencer-led collaborations, consumer engagement initiatives, storytelling-driven content and anniversary-led promotions. These initiatives are designed to deepen brand-consumer interaction while reinforcing the mall’s positioning as an experience-led retail destination.

As Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden enters its next phase of growth, the focus remains on strengthening anchor-led leasing, enhancing consumer experience and future-proofing the asset in line with evolving retail trends. The 15-year milestone not only marks longevity but also reflects the mall’s ability to adapt, scale and maintain relevance in India’s increasingly competitive organised retail landscape.

  • From Numbers to Meaning: How Doori Helps Make Sense of Health Data

From Numbers to Meaning: How Doori Helps Make Sense of Health Data

How Doori enables daily health tracking to turn heart data into meaningful insights for better awareness and everyday decisions

In today’s fast paced lives, people are surrounded by health numbers but often lack understanding of what those numbers actually mean. Readings like heart rate, blood pressure, HRV, and SpO2 are commonly seen during check ups, yet they rarely translate into daily action. This is where meaningful health insights play an important role in improving awareness and supporting better heart health.

Daily health tracking goes beyond isolated readings. When heart rate and blood pressure are observed regularly, patterns begin to form. Changes linked to stress levels, sleep quality, and workload become easier to recognise. Instead of reacting late, individuals gain early signals about their heart health and body readiness.

Tools like Doori are helping bridge the gap between raw data and understanding. Doori Healthable enables daily health tracking by monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, HRV, and SpO2 in a consistent manner.

What makes these insights valuable is context. By combining HRV tracking with stress levels and energy levels, Doori helps users understand how their body responds to daily routines. A drop in wellness score, for example, often reflects reduced recovery, high stress, or poor sleep. These health insights help individuals make sense of how lifestyle choices affect heart health over time.

Accurate and reliable data is essential for this awareness. Doori focuses on providing consistent readings that support informed decisions rather than guesswork. When users can see how work pressure, lack of rest, or irregular habits influence their body readiness, they are more likely to make small but meaningful adjustments.

From improving sleep routines to managing stress better, awareness leads to action. By turning numbers into meaningful health insights, Doori supports a more conscious approach to daily heart health. Instead of seeing health data as confusing figures, people begin to understand their body better and take charge of their well being with confidence.

Dr.Shantanu Sinha Takes Charge as National Vice President of WHRPC

New Delhi: In a significant development for India’s human rights community, Dr. Shantanu Sinha, a practising Advocate of the Calcutta High Court, has been appointed as the National Vice President of the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC). Dr. Sinha also serves as a panel counsel for the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, and is widely known for combining legal expertise with grassroots social engagement.

The World Human Rights Protection Commission is a US-based governmental organization authorized by the New York Department of State and the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office. It brings together legal professionals, academics, and social organizations from across the world with a shared mission: to promote awareness, protection, and enforcement of human rights for people everywhere.

Dr. Sinha’s appointment was announced on December 27,2025 during an organizational session of WHRPC held at a five-star venue in New Delhi. The occasion also marked a moment of recognition for his long-standing public service, as he was conferred with the “Rashtriya Ashoka Samman”—an honour awarded for his contributions to social welfare, legal aid, and community-based work.

Over the years, Dr. Sinha has built a reputation not just as a courtroom professional, but as a lawyer deeply invested in social justice. His work has consistently reflected a concern for those who often find themselves at the margins of the legal system. Whether through legal assistance, advocacy, or public engagement, his approach has remained rooted in the belief that law must serve people, not intimidate them.

Speaking after assuming office, Dr. Sinha outlined a clear and focused agenda. He emphasized that child protection and women’s safety would remain at the centre of his work. At the same time, he voiced concern over the growing misuse of legal processes and expressed his commitment to acting against cases where individuals are falsely implicated. “Justice must protect the vulnerable without becoming a tool of injustice,” he remarked, underscoring the need for balance, accountability, and fairness within the system.

With this new role, Dr. Shantanu Sinha is expected to strengthen WHRPC’s presence and initiatives in India. His leadership is likely to contribute to awareness campaigns, policy advocacy, and legal interventions that address real-world human rights challenges. More than a formal appointment, his elevation reflects a continuing journey—one shaped by law, service, and an enduring commitment to human dignity.

  • Rethinking What Goes Into Everyday Oral Care

Rethinking What Goes Into Everyday Oral Care

For years, oral care choices for kids were made on autopilot. Toothpaste was toothpaste — trusted, familiar, and rarely questioned. Today, that reflex is changing. Caregivers are reading labels more closely, asking sharper questions, and re-examining everyday habits that repeat themselves morning and night — especially when it comes to kids.

This shift is not driven by panic. It reflects a deeper change in mindset: less blind acceptance, more precaution. And in that quieter rethink, fluoride — long known and assumed to be essential — is now being viewed with greater scrutiny when it comes to kids.

When “routine” deserves a second look

What has changed is not just research, but context. Fluoride exposure today is layered. It can come from water, food, dental products, and environmental sources — all adding up silently over time. For kids, this matters because brushing is often unsupervised, and toothpaste is commonly swallowed rather than fully rinsed out.

Even in the US, in a recent move by the FDA, newer recommendations have been made that limit the use of fluoride in supplements and Oral care products. Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr has called Fluoride [sic] “Neurotoxic and carcinogenic”. He has also called for states to ban fluoride in drinking water. In March, Utah became the first state to do so.

As per a recent article in this context, Fluoride could alter the gut microbiome and the agency also cited concerns about a link between high levels of fluoride and lower IQ in children. In the words of Dr Scott Tomar, a public health dentist and oral epidemiologist at the University of Illinois Chicago “Patients are coming in and asking about non-fluoride-containing toothpaste. They don’t want fluoride treatment for their kids.”

This is not about alarm. It is about acknowledging that cumulative exposure is hard to track — and that caution, where kids are concerned, is a rational response.

A global signal of growing caution

Globally, the tone around fluoride use for kids is also shifting. Recent regulatory moves and debates in the West indicate that science in this area is still evolving — and that regulators themselves are becoming more conservative where kids are concerned. Usually measures taken in the US come into practice in other parts of the world, soon enough. These developments are not dramatic reversals. They are signals. Signals that long-held assumptions deserve re-examination, and that when uncertainty exists, restraint is often the safer choice.

For many caregivers, this global caution has reinforced an instinctive question: if safer alternatives are available for kids, why not choose them?

Why fluoride-free is emerging as the safer default

Against this backdrop, fluoride-free toothpaste is no longer niche. It is increasingly seen as a sensible, precaution-led choice for kids — particularly for daily use.

The reasoning is simple. If effective oral hygiene can be maintained, habits can be built, and teeth can be cleaned well without introducing an additional fluoride source, fluoride-free becomes the safer default rather than the exception.

This shift is not ideological. It is practical. It reflects the belief that when it comes to kids, avoiding unnecessary exposure is a responsible decision.

How changing choices are reshaping oral care

As awareness grows, the oral care category itself is responding. Formulations are evolving to prioritise gentler cleansing, simpler ingredient profiles, and fluoride-free options designed with kids in mind.

This mirrors a broader change in how kids’ wellness is approached today — where trust is built through transparency and precaution rather than excess. Fluoride-free toothpaste fits squarely within this expectation: informed, careful, and conscious.

    Moving beyond “for or against”

Dental guidance continues to emphasise fundamentals such as regular brushing and dietary care. What has changed is the understanding that one-size-fits-all solutions may not suit every kid, especially when exposure levels vary and certainty is limited.

In this context, choosing fluoride-free toothpaste for kids is not about rejection; it is about prioritising caution in everyday routines, while leaving room for professional guidance where needed.

    A more careful way forward

The renewed conversation around fluoride is not loud or reactionary. It is measured. It reflects a growing awareness that when it comes to kids, less can often be safer.

As regulatory thinking evolves and exposure concerns become harder to ignore, fluoride-free toothpaste stands out as a credible, modern choice — one that aligns with the instinct to protect kids while still building strong oral-care habits.

The goal remains simple and unchanged: healthy oral care for kids, built carefully, consciously, and without unnecessary risk.

  • Free Plastic Surgery Camp | BJS Delhi

Free Plastic Surgery Camp | BJS Delhi

For thousands of children and adults living with facial deformities, access to corrective surgery still remains a distant dream due to financial constraints, lack of specialized medical facilities, and deep-rooted social stigma. Addressing this critical gap, BJS Delhi (Bhartiya Jain Sangathan – Delhi) is organizing a three-day Free Plastic Surgery Camp from January 14 to 16 at Muni Maya Ram Jain Hospital, Pitampura, offering life-changing surgeries to underprivileged patients from across the country.

To share details of the camp, a press conference was held today at Anuvrat Bhawan, New Delhi. The conference commenced with the Navkar Mantra, chanted by Shasan Shri Muni Shri Vimal Kumar Ji and Bahushrut Muni Shri Udit Kumar Ji.

Addressing the media, the Muni Shri emphasized that social service should not be limited to physical treatment alone, and that along with plastic surgery, de-addiction awareness campaigns are equally important. He urged society to move away from substance abuse and adopt a healthy, value-based lifestyle.

Highlighting the pivotal role of the Delhi chapter, Dr. Kamal Jain Sethia, President, BJS Delhi, stated that the camp reflects a collective commitment to providing dignified and accessible healthcare.
“This camp is not charity, but our moral responsibility. The entire Delhi chapter has worked tirelessly—from outreach and patient registration to hospital coordination and post-operative follow-up—to ensure world-class treatment without any financial burden on patients,” he said.

Camp Convener Vijay Jain informed that the camp will provide completely free corrective surgeries for congenital facial deformities such as cleft lip and palate, squint, facial scars, and marks.
He added that OPD consultations, medical examinations, and lab tests will be conducted on January 14, followed by surgeries and free post-operative care on January 15 and 16.

Explaining the guiding philosophy of BJS, Pradeep Jain, National Minister, said,
“These camps are not just medical interventions; they are powerful tools of social transformation that restore confidence, dignity, and hope.”
Founded in 1985 with its headquarters in Pune, BJS is a non-political, non-profit organization actively working in healthcare, disaster response, education, and social development. Since 1993, BJS has successfully conducted over 300,000 free plastic surgeries, primarily for underprivileged children.

Rajesh Khivansara, National Head – Foundation Projects, stated,
“Every surgery is not just a medical success, but a new opportunity for life, education, and social inclusion.”
This will be the sixth major plastic surgery camp organized by BJS Delhi, with expectations of benefiting over 100 patients during the three-day program.

Surgeries will be led by renowned US plastic surgeons Dr. Larry Weinstein and Dr. Whitney Pafford, in collaboration with senior Indian doctors. The hospital is fully equipped with modern facilities to ensure safe and high-quality care.

The entire press conference was efficiently conducted by Navnit Duggar, Senior Vice President, BJS Delhi.
More than 75 media representatives attended the event, and all queries during the Q&A session were addressed by the BJS Delhi team.

Providing strategic guidance, Sukhraj Sethia, President, Delhi Terapanth Sabha, said,
“The goal of BJS Delhi is not short-term relief, but long-lasting and positive social change.”

For registration and further information, BJS Delhi has released a dedicated helpline number: 902433322, and patients from across India are encouraged to pre-register.

Enhancing the significance of the camp, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is likely to visit the hospital on January 14, the first day of the camp.

This initiative stands as a strong reminder that quality healthcare should never depend on one’s ability to pay, and that true healing restores not only faces, but also confidence, dignity, and hope.
