FUJIFILM India reaffirms its dedication to India’s TB elimination goals by 2025 through active participation in the “100 Days to TB Elimination Campaign.” The initiative began with a flag-off event in Keonjhar, Odisha, today to give an edge to the government’s measure of making “TB Mukt Bharat” a reality.

With project initiation in Keonjhar, the campaign will further extend to 6 districts in Gujarat with Navsari, Vyara, Rajkot, Morbi, Mehsana, and Patan in Gujarat with an ambition to screen over 45,000 population in 100 days. This commitment builds on FUJIFILM India’s ongoing TB Screening CSR Campaign “Where Innovation meets Care” By leveraging its advanced handheld X-ray device, the campaign has transformed TB detection with high-quality, low-radiation imaging, reaching underserved communities nationwide.

Launched by Health Minister, Shri J P Nadda, the 100 Days to TB Elimination Campaign aims to identify missing tuberculosis (TB) cases early to prevent the spread of infection and accelerate the journey toward TB-free communities. The campaign focuses on initiating treatment early, managing associated risk factors, and providing TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) to eligible household contacts and high-risk populations. Implemented across 347 districts in 33 States and Union Territories, it aligns with India’s National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) and the vision of a TB-Mukt Bharat outlined by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. FUJIFILM India is proud to do activities in 6 districts out of the selected districts.

Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India: “At FUJIFILM India, we are committed to delivering innovative products and solutions that embody our philosophy of ‘Value from Innovation.’ By blending diverse ideas, unique capabilities, and extraordinary people, we aim to create solutions that bring joy and smiles to the world. Through our participation in the “100 Days to TB Elimination Campaign”, we aim to accelerate TB Mukt Bharat by leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and prioritizing early detection and accessibility. With our sustained efforts we will continue to stand firm with our Group Purpose of ‘Giving Our World More Smiles’.”

Mr. Abhi Shekhar Singh – Vertical Head, Corporate Communications & CSR – FUJIFILM India “Public health is a selfless service which is very challenging and emotionally draining for the For Immediate Dissemination FFIN_PR_24_27 field staff and we are committed to take up the challenge and support the cause. As a leading healthcare brand, it has been our stance to support the cause of TB Elimination in India. Under the Sustainability Value Plan 2023 of Fujifilm Group, we are trying to fulfill unmet medical needs, improve accessibility to medical services, and contribute to early disease detection through this activity. I am sure this intensified active screening campaign will support the cause of TB Mukt Bharat”

With Apollo Tele Networking Foundation as the implementation partner, FUJIFILM India is combining innovative diagnostic tools, compassion, and collaboration with key stakeholders. As the campaign progresses, FUJIFILM India remains dedicated to its vision of a TB-free future, contributing to India’s National TB Elimination Programme and aligning with the vision of a TB- Mukt Bharat
