Garmin, a global leader in fitness wearables and health technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Apollo HealthAxis, a subsidiary of India’s largest hospital chain, Apollo Hospitals. This collaboration aims to revolutionize health monitoring and wellness solutions in India by integrating Garmin’s cutting-edge fitness trackers with Apollo Health Plans, offering advanced health insights and personalized wellness programs to users across the country.

The agreement, signed during the annual Garmin Health Summit in Prague, marks a significant step in enhancing digital healthcare in India. Through this partnership, Apollo HealthAxis will offer Garmin fitness trackers as part of select Apollo Health Plans, enabling users to monitor their health more closely and proactively. In addition, customers purchasing select Garmin fitness devices will receive access to Apollo ProHealth, a personalized health program designed by doctors and powered by AI. This program leverages patient data to predict health risks and guide users on their journey toward improved wellness.

The collaboration also includes a joint social responsibility initiative aimed at providing innovative healthcare services to rural communities in India. This will combine Garmin’s advanced wearable technology with Apollo’s extensive healthcare expertise to improve access to quality health monitoring in underserved areas.

Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Juha, Head of B2B Partnerships, Garmin, said, “We are excited to join forces with Apollo HealthAxis to bring Garmin’s innovative wearable technology to more people in India. By integrating our advanced fitness trackers with Apollo’s trusted healthcare services, we are empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being with real-time insights and personalized wellness guidance.”

Dr. Sai Praveen Haranath, SVP, Medical & Strategy, Apollo HealthAxis, added, “Precision and quality—values shared by both Apollo HealthAxis and Garmin—will be the core of our approach. Our mission is to enhance rural healthcare by leveraging technology to manage chronic diseases, enrolling patients into preventive health programs across India, and utilizing our service network to deliver comprehensive care.”

The Garmin Health Summit is an exclusive event that provides networking and learning opportunities for attendees, featuring expert sessions on Garmin’s connected ecosystem, insurance, employee wellness benefits, and more. Garmin Health delivers enterprise business solutions using its extensive portfolio of wearables and high-quality sensor data, serving markets such as corporate wellness, population health, and patient monitoring.
