    Jackson Group and Let’s Give Hope Foundation Empower 800 Girls with Self-Defense Training at Bal Nikunj Inter College, Lucknow

    Lucknow, February 17th – In collaboration with Lets Give Hope Foundation, Jakson Group conducted a self-defense training program today at Bal Nikunj Inter College, Mohibullapur, benefiting over 800 students. The training aimed to boost confidence and equip students, particularly girls, with essential self-defense skills.

    Lakshmi, Priyanshi, Kajal, Garima, Deepali, and Parul, enthusiastic participants of the training expressed how learning punching and kicking techniques has diminished the fear of insecurity while walking alone on the streets. They emphasized gaining confidence to handle potential threats after acquiring these self-defense skills.

    As part of the initiative towards women’s empowerment, the program organized at the college premises under the Let’s Give Hope Foundation’s support focused on addressing serious issues like harassment and violence against women. Sqn Ldr Abhai Pratap Singh, the chief guest, emphasized the social responsibility of providing mental, physical, and economic empowerment through such training, not only to girls and women but also to vulnerable sections of society, including differently-abled individuals.

    Senior Manager Kumar Avishek and Deputy general Manager IT, Mr Vivek Srivastava from Jakson Group commits to advancing our mission. Director H.N. Jaiswal encourage other educational institutions to join us in similar initiatives.

    Imran Ali, the instructor from Kalaripayattu Karma Gurukul, who provided training at the college, highlighted that the techniques learned during unfavorable situations empower young women, making them feel safer. Experts also demonstrated blocking, punching, and kicking techniques to help young women protect themselves during unexpected attacks.
    Ashish Maurya, the founder of Let’s Give Hope Foundation, expressed gratitude, stating that the mission will continue progressively across Uttar Pradesh. The program witnessed the participation of students, and team members including Seema Yadav, Shivangi Tripathi, Himanshu Singh, Deepak Maurya, and other college staff.
