Saiee M Manjrekar and Guru Randhawa are bringing a delightful treat for their fans with the release of the trailer for their rom-com “Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay,” set in Agra. The film promises to tickle the audience’s funny bones with its quirky storyline centered around two lovers and their eccentric families. After giving us a taste of the fun with the teaser, the makers now offer a deeper insight into this modern-day love story.

The trailer showcases the whirlwind romance of two young lovers who embark on a hilarious journey post-marriage. Their lives take unexpected turns, including a mistaken pregnancy that adds to the chaos, only to discover later that it was a hoax. The trailer promises a musical roller coaster of emotions, leaving viewers eager to uncover the fate of the Chawla family.

The grand trailer launch event took place in Mumbai today, where Guru Randhawa expressed, “We’ve all put our hearts into this film, and while it features an ensemble of talented stars, it’s you, the audience, who can make it a blockbuster. The film depicts the life of an ordinary person, so we hope you’ll watch and support it.”

Adding to the excitement, Saiee shared, “Working on this film has been an absolute joy. The camaraderie we shared behind the scenes shines through in the trailer. I hope our love for the project resonates with the audience and brings back abundant love in return. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled with the outcome.”

Saiee also shared a playful anecdote about her experience working with Guru, revealing his penchant for mischief on set. Reacting to her comment, Guru remarked, “Working with Saiee has been a learning experience for me. In terms of movies, she’s my senior and always will be. She holds a special place as my first leading lady, just as her character holds my character’s heart from day one of filming.”

Producer Amit Bhatia shed light on the inspiration behind “Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay,” stating, “I’m grateful for the warm reception to our film. Welcome to the world of ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.’ Growing up in a joint family, I drew inspiration from my own experiences, reflected in the film’s values and dynamics. It’s a family-centric story with soulful music and plenty of surprises. We’ve crafted every aspect with audiences in mind, ensuring it’s an enjoyable experience for all.”

With Guru’s charm and Saiee’s grace lighting up the screen, “Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay” marks Guru Randhawa’s acting debut. Alongside Saiee M Manjrekar, the film features Anupam Kher and Ila Arun, making it a heartwarming family comedy with a dash of drama. Produced by Mach Films, Amit Bhatia, and Laveena Bhatia, this PAN India movie directed by G Ashok hits theaters on February 16th, 2024.
