Durga Puja, a vibrant and widely celebrated festival across India and the world, is being enthusiastically observed. Today marks the Mahashtami Tithi of the nine-day Sharadiya Navaratri, a day dedicated to the worship of Goddess Mahagauri.

In Rourkela, Odisha, Azam khan, the producer of TMG Films and owner of TMG Industrial Group, along with his partner Narsingh Singh, participated in the Durga Puja celebrations at Narsingh Singh’s Udit Nagar office. The grand event included a havan and puja, attended by Azam khan, Narsingh Singh, and many others.

Azam khan, the film producer, also made offerings during the havan, seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of respecting all religions and promoting unity among people. He stated, “While we follow the Islamic faith, it is vital that people of all faiths come together, share each other’s joys and sorrows, and show respect for every religion. True humanity lies in treating all religions with honor, and in this world, the greatest religion is the path of humanity. We should all work together for the progress of our country, without any discrimination.”

Bollywood film producer Azam khan extended his warm wishes to all Indians, both in the country and abroad, on the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja. He said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to all those who are partaking in the celebrations of Durga Puja, across the world. I pray to Mother Durga to grant wisdom to all. May She provide a new direction for this country and its citizens, guiding us on the path of morality, encouraging us to help each other, and nurturing love among all. In her various forms, Mother Durga unites us with love and affection. Being part of Durga Puja celebrations in Odisha today, I felt the love and blessings of Mother Durga from all those present. I sincerely thank everyone. I hope that Mother Durga continues to shower her blessings on us all.”

In a world where diversity is celebrated, Azam khan’s message resonates strongly, emphasizing the unity and respect for all religions. Durga Puja, in its essence, brings people together, transcending religious boundaries, and fostering a sense of oneness and love. Azam khan’s presence at the celebration in Odisha serves as a beautiful reminder of the inclusive spirit of festivals in India.
